A few years ago, we installed a router on top of the Splinter warehouse to share their existing internet connection with neighbors. Now we're going to connect that router to the broader mesh!

If you've been curious about the Mesh or interested in getting your home connected, this event is a great chance to learn more about how our network works and how we make new connections, particularly if you're in the Dunbar Spring neighborhood.

You could get on the roof to help us install and align the router, see how we test the connection inside, or just hang out and ask questions about the mesh. We'll have a short presentation and discussion about the political implications of our network and a hands-on activity about some wireless internet skills and concepts.

The install will be outside, and some of the other activities may be as well. Come prepared for the heat!
