We’re back with more sessions this Fall to make art together in the Santa Cruz River!
Landing Place celebrates the continuous creativity in and along the Santa Cruz River, a living riparian “highway” of ecological and human history. Join us at the river’s heritage flow near Tucson’s Birthplace, to observe and make art with water currents, riverbed/bank habitat, plant and animal life, and more.
Work in any medium. Bring a sketchbook and materials. Some materials provided for a loosely guided activity or work on your own!
FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. All levels encouraged.
WHEN:
Sunday, Oct 12th, 11am-1pm
Sunday, Nov 23rd, 11am-1pm
Sunday, Dec 7th, 11am-1pm
WHERE: 1580 South Santa Cruz Lane
— Navigate to 26th St. and South Santa Cruz Lane. From there, turn west down the gravel driveway just past the bike crossing toward the river and park near the building with the purple pipes or at the southwest corner of the dirt lot near the ramp that leads to the river.
